Our Story
Blow Up Key Personnel
Gareth Brown – Chief Photographer
Gareth originally hails from Swansea in South Wales but decamped to HK in 1996 establishing Blow Up soon after. When Gareth isn’t shooting he enjoys taking his kids around Hong Kong’s breathtaking landscape, hoping to discover new places of interest for his dance-related personal art project.
He’s also a post-punk aficionado and played guitar very badly in an early punk band, consequently he’s banned from playing guitar in the studio and at home.
Liz Mok – Visual Artist
With a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Chinese Uni, long-term Blow Up collaborator Liz is a multi-tasking artistic tour de force! A keen guitar player, this well seasoned traveller hopes to retire before she’s 40 after which you may catch her on some remote mountaintop strumming her Gibson to her hearts delight.
